FairHub ("we", "us", "the Service") operates this events platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights over it. For any privacy request, contact info@dev.fairhub.ca.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — your email address, and the name, contact details and profile fields you choose to provide as a guest, participant or organizer.
• Usage data — sign-ins, bookings, applications, submissions, notifications received, and similar interaction history needed to run the Service.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type and timestamps recorded in server logs for security and abuse prevention.

3. Why we use it

We process your data to authenticate you, deliver the events, tickets and applications you request, send transactional and notification emails you have not muted, keep the Service secure, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Sharing

When you apply to or book an event, the relevant details are shared with that event's organizer so they can manage your participation. We also use service providers (email delivery, hosting) bound to process data only on our instructions. We may disclose data where required by law.

5. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to records we must retain for legal or accounting reasons.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Most profile data can be edited directly in your account; for anything else email info@dev.fairhub.ca.

7. Security

We use passwordless email sign-in, HTTPS, and standard safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes

When we update this policy the version string at the top changes. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
